Why people cold plunge
Cold water isn’t a cure-all, and I’m not going to sell it as one. Here is what the research actually supports, and where it doesn’t.
Stress resilience
Regular cold exposure is linked to lower cortisol and higher endorphin and norepinephrine levels, which shows up as better resilience to stress. Worth knowing that this builds over the hours after a plunge rather than flipping your mood on the spot.4,5
Sleep quality
Some people report sleeping better with regular immersion. The research is clearer in men than in women, so treat it as something many people notice rather than something the setup guarantees.5,6
Immune function
Some evidence points to immune benefits with regular practice, though the research here is still developing. Frequent cold-water swimmers show higher white blood cell counts and fewer upper respiratory infections.7,8,9

I’m Josh. I plunge every morning.
Not as a business - as the thing that keeps my head straight and, as far as I can tell, keeps me from getting sick. I’ve done it daily as a recreational athlete for long enough to know which parts are hard: keeping water genuinely cold in Dubai, and keeping it clean.

What’s included when I buy?

How much does it cost?
AED 5,999 for the Compact tub, AED 6,400 for the Large tub, including delivery and installation.
What’s the difference between the two tubs?
Large is bigger and better for stretching out. Compact is smaller and better for tight spaces. Same chiller, same cold, your choice. Full numbers are in the spec table above.
How cold does it get, and how long does it take to cool down?
The chiller runs from 41°F to 86°F (5°C to 30°C). Bringing 200L of water from 20°C down to 5°C takes roughly 5.5 hours.
How much space and power does it need?
The chiller is 12.99in x 15.75in x 12.80in (330 x 400 x 325mm) and runs on a standard home outlet, with no special wiring. Tub footprints are in the spec table above.
Is it noisy?
50dB, roughly the level of a quiet conversation or a running refrigerator. Worth knowing if you share walls with neighbours.
How is the water kept clean?
Filtered continuously through a 20-micron filter, and I’ll show you the water upkeep routine at handover. To be straight about the hardware: this chiller tier is filter-only, with no ozone or UV sterilization built in.
What if something breaks after purchase?
You’re covered by the manufacturer’s standard warranty, and I’m directly reachable for support and advice for as long as you own it - no call centre, no ticket queue.
How is this different from renting?
No monthly fee, no minimum term, no early-exit fee - but you own the equipment outright rather than us handling it as part of a subscription.
