Why make a big investment on a habit you haven’t built yet?
Buying outright is money down on kit you then own and maintain. Renting is a flat monthly rate: a tub and filtered chiller, delivered, installed and serviced. Keep it while it’s working, and I’ll collect it when it isn’t.
Why you should cold plunge
Stress resilience
Regular cold exposure is linked to lower cortisol and higher endorphin and norepinephrine levels, which shows up as better resilience to stress. The lift builds through the hours after you get out, so a morning plunge carries into the rest of your day.4,5
Sleep quality
Regular immersion is linked to deeper, better-quality sleep - one of the most commonly reported benefits among people who plunge daily.5,6
Immune function
Frequent cold-water swimmers show higher white blood cell counts and fewer upper respiratory infections. Regular practice is linked to a more robust immune response.7

I’m Josh. I plunge every morning.
Not as a business - as the thing that keeps my head straight and, as far as I can tell, keeps me from getting sick. I’ve done it daily as a recreational athlete for long enough to know which parts are hard: keeping water genuinely cold in Dubai, and keeping it clean.
FrostFire is that setup, handled for you. I’m not a company entering a trend. I already own the routine; this just removes the reason people put off starting theirs.

What’s actually included in the rental?
The tub, the chiller, delivery, setup, and ongoing maintenance. Nothing else to buy.
What’s the difference between the two tubs?
Large is bigger and better for stretching out. Compact is smaller and better for tight spaces. Same chiller, same cold, your choice. Full numbers are in the spec table above.
How cold does it get, and how long does it take to cool down?
The chiller runs from 41°F to 86°F (5°C to 30°C). The manufacturer’s rated cooling time - about 5.5 hours from 20°C to 5°C - is based on a 200L test volume, not a full tub. Scaled to what we actually deliver, expect roughly 15 hours for the Large tub (561L) and roughly 8 hours for the Compact tub (283L) to reach target temperature from a warm fill. Plan to fill ahead of when you want to plunge - same-day isn’t realistic for either tub.
What if the chiller breaks?
If something goes wrong, you’ll be connected directly with the founder or hear back the same day - that’s the commitment. It doesn’t necessarily mean someone is at your door within hours; it means you won’t be left waiting to hear from us. From there we’ll get a fix scheduled as fast as the situation needs. Maintenance visits are included at no extra cost.
How much space and power does it need?
The chiller is 12.99in x 15.75in x 12.80in (330 x 400 x 325mm) and runs on a standard home outlet, with no special wiring. Tub footprints are in the spec table above.
Can I keep it outside?
We recommend indoors. The standard chiller is rated to a 30°C ambient, so in Dubai heat an outdoor tub takes considerably longer to reach temperature and works harder to hold it. It isn’t a strict rule and a shaded, cooler spot can work - but if you’re planning to keep it outside, say so and we’ll quote the outdoor chiller instead. We’ll ask where you plan to put it before delivery either way.
Is it noisy?
50dB, roughly the level of a quiet conversation or a running refrigerator. Worth knowing if you share walls with neighbours.
What’s the minimum commitment?
Six or twelve months, your choice. The 6-month term is AED 1,100/month flat; the 12-month term is AED 950/month flat - both below our AED 1,200 standard rate. If you need to leave before your term ends, an early-exit fee applies. We confirm the amount in writing before your term starts.
What do I get with the founders offer?
A locked-in discounted rate for your whole term - AED 1,100/month on 6 months or AED 950/month on 12 months, against our AED 1,200 standard rate. No free months to track, no conditions beyond the term itself - just a lower rate for as long as you’re with us.
What happens after my first term?
The standard rate applies. There is no renewal incentive yet. If that changes, you will hear it from me directly.
How is the water kept clean?
Filtered continuously through a 20-micron filter, and I handle water upkeep as part of your included maintenance visits. To be straight about the hardware: this chiller tier is filter-only, with no ozone or UV sterilization built in.
